Revising Robin Hood into a peasant armed with a sickle who leads an "uprising" of the workers is a much more nefarious modern subversion of the character than anything Nolan did to Odysseus.
If I had a nickel for every "edgy Robin Hood" movie coming up in 2026 I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
Jokes aside dawg, it's amusing how similar all of these movies look
This is even crazier when you realize it’s not really a Robin Hood movie either.
It’s based on the uprising that would inspire the folktale of Robin Hood. What a marketing twist for a movie coming out in two weeks.
Watching both Gladiator movies back to back is hilarious. You have Crowe giving one of the best movie star performances ever, and then you have Mescal giving one of the worst performances of the 2020s.
