Can someone explain to me why the Guardians of the Galaxy aren’t showing up for Avengers: Doomsday?

They’re such a unique team, and their different abilities and experience dealing with cosmic threats could be exactly what the Avengers need to take down Doctor Doom.

Can someone please explain to me how Doctor Doom is the villain in Avengers: Doomsday when he supposedly lost everything in his reality because of the Avengers messing with the timeline?

If the Avengers are responsible for the destruction of his world, wouldn’t that make Doom’s hatred understandable?

For anyone who’s seen the first episode, please help me understand one thing that confused me:

How did Hal from 2006 know there were going to be murders in 2016?

Was he actually predicting the future, or is there something about the timeline that we haven’t fully understood yet?

• Steve stayed back in time and had a child with Peggy.

• Thor had Gorr make a wish to save Love and then took her in as his own.

• Tony had a child and refused to erase the timeline, instead choosing to bring back half of the universe.

• Wanda created two children using magic and those children took over the bodies of two random people.

• Sue Storm was supposed to be dead but Franklin resurrected her.

• Spider-Man was supposed to die but Jean Grey kept him alive and helped him heal.

So yeah Doctor Doom was right about 'Stolen lives' 👀 😬

Fans are getting confused about whether these two figures are Victor and his mother Cynthia Von Doom or his wife and son.?

Here’s our breakdown using comic knowledge! 👇

>> If they are Victor & his mom Cynthia Von Doom, it doesn’t make much sense.

In the comics, Cynthia Von Doom was manipulated by Mephisto who tricked her and ultimately caused her death at the hands of the Latverian tribes. Her soul was then trapped in Hell. Doom always tried to free his mother from Hell but failed repeatedly. Later with the help of Doctor Strange, he finally managed to free her soul.

But in Doomsday, Mephisto doesn’t appear to be involved at all plus, Doom comes from the F-4 universe where the other heroes don’t even exist yet. So adapting Cynthia’s comic storyline here wouldn’t make much sense.

Steve’s one decision could have major consequences for the Multiverse. Having a child with Peggy was never supposed to happen but Steve’s choice changed it all. That decision may have created an unexpected chain of events that ultimately affected Doom’s family resulting Doom losing his wife and son and suffering the facial injury we see.

That is why Steve’s role is far more important to Doomsday than we initially thought. 🔥

Think about it.

The Multiverse collapses completely due to the incursions. The screen goes completely black and suddenly we see Doctor Doom with his witches walking toward a castle balcony.

In the corner of the screen the word “LATVERIA-THE TOWN BATTLEWORLD” appears.

The camera then moves down from the castle, revealing the Avengers, Fantastic Four and X-Men members wearing traditional Latverian clothing all watching from below cheering for their King Doom.

Doctor Doom arrives, looks at them and says,

“WELCOME TO DOOMSDAY.”

And the film ends.

Imagine that cliffhanger leading directly into SECRET WARS! 🔥
