@CoventryMixtape@LBACSimon amazing track, and yes, life is what you make it. i've been using the rhythm (two versions - one with the piano bassline and one without) for a jazzy remix of Bardo by Go Go Penguin.
@IPhillips79 I would love to hear from anybody who saw them perform this in London. I was there, think it was Town and Country Club, Kentish Town. With Inner City. I remember this more than I remember Inner City, but it was a great gig and I was privileged to be there.
@CommodoreBlog Sadly, only some releases contained the AY music. Although personally it gets annoying after a bit (just played this exact game today on a 128k +2 grey model).
@IPhillips79 I completely agree Ian. This brings back many happy memories of clubbing in Leeds. The groove is deeper than the Mariana Trench. I think Pete Tong used to play it, in his early days on Radio 1. Maybe it was one of his "Essential New Tunes".
@TheMarauder_X@bobbus74 I was playing Yars Revenge the other day. It's one of my favourite Atari VCS games. I love the "nibbling" that you have to do to expose the enemy. My other favourite is Circus Atari and the animation when you miss. It's very funny!
@Arcade_Archive What a weird coincidence. I just tried to load up my tape version of Tapper into my ZX Spectrum. Sadly, it didn't work due to the Speedlock loader. I will get it working though. Never played the arcade version and when next at Stroud will look you up!
Now in service at Arcade Archive, serve ‘em up in Tapper, released by Midway in 1984. Serve thirsty customers and collect the empties as quickly as you can!
@jenkin7NICK What a game, still played a lot. Have you ever completed it? I can get to about level 11. Here is a link to my series of articles about the releases of Manic Miner. It's a developing series, with new evidence and photos added.

@chrisjowett73@RareLtd Thanks Chris. Yes, we should be proud of what we helped to build, just as much as our parents' generation are of the music industry they helped to build. So... one done to add to the one in Ludlow for @CrashOnlineUK !

@BBCSport 2003 seems like another epoch. 21 years and a bit since a Northern Hemisphere team won the World Cup, and that was very close. This week, the BBC put a headline up asking if Six Nations is in a "golden age". What a ridiculous question - the Southern Hemisphere is still dominant.
@JimWhite@SouthamptonFC@talkSPORT Yes, if Sport Republic sell Southampton FC to some people who know what they are doing - unlike Sport Republic. Two relegations in three years for the Men. Saints Women going backwards and towards relegation zone.
