The Popham Battle of the Books Team enjoyed a field trip to the Austin Central Library. They went on a scavenger hunt in the children’s section, used the library catalog, checked out books, and explored all levels of the library. #WeArePopham#PandasRead
After being tied for 1st place and advancing to the final round, Popham took 3rd place at the Del Valle Elementary Battle of the Books Competition. Way to go, Pandas!

Ambray Gonzales from the Austin Public Library presented Echoes of Africa. Students learned about African culture and heard folktales through multiple storytelling methods, including a shadow puppet show.
