We're kicking off #ArmedForcesWeek with a free open day on Monday 22 June, 10am to 4pm. Meet our team and join a short guided tour of our historic factory, with tea/coffee and cake on offer as we celebrate 100 years in Richmond upon Thames. It's a great way to show your support ahead of #ArmedForcesDay!

#VolunteersWeek is an opportunity for charities across the UK to celebrate the outstanding contributions of our volunteers, and a chance to recognise the value of volunteering as a way into a new job or career. https://t.co/7Ztly4zwhj
When Ian left the Army after 20 years, he found civilian life challenging. Support through our Navigator service helped him create an Armed Forces support group at his beloved football club, @TranmereRovers – enabling other ex-Forces fans to make new connections and find the help they need.

Join us on Tuesday 19 May for a discovery session in our visitor centre and hear the unique story of The Poppy Factory community and its 100 years in Richmond. This is the perfect time of year to Visit Richmond, London! https://t.co/TVXBlClsti
We recently had the privilege of filming Sam, a veteran who served in the Army for 19 years before building a new career in barbering.
With support from @ArmyBenFund, the Royal Logistics Corps and our Employment Consultant, @Andrew_WirralEC, Sam has been able to take positive steps forward and find a path that works for her beyond military life.
It was fantastic to capture Sam’s story on video — a powerful reminder of the journeys veterans take after service, and the difference the right support can make in helping people move towards a brighter future.

The unmistakable roar of 17 Harley Davidsons filled the air as members of the 1066 Chapter rode in to The Poppy Factory, battling all the way from #Hastings in East Sussex. Thank you all for coming!

It was our privilege to attend the Cavalry Sunday parade in Hyde Park at the weekend, and an honour to refurbish the large Remembrance wreath that was once again placed in memory of those who have given their lives in service.
This rare artefact was one of several butterflies created by a group of artists using materials salvaged from the ruins of Berlin in 1945, at the end of the Second World War.
It was discovered in an antiques shop by collector and butterfly enthusiast Richard Gray, who kindly lent it to The Poppy Factory last year for the 80th anniversary of #VEDay.
Would you feel a similar #callofduty to help our production team while supporting veterans and families across the UK? Huge thanks to the two @Activision teams for all your hard work volunteering in Richmond yesterday.
It was great to have you all with us as part of our funding partnership in support of our Veteran & Family Services, which last year helped more than 1,200 people in the Armed Forces community to make progress on the path to employment.

As we celebrate our centenary in Richmond, it's great to have the support of friends like the Richmond Local History Society. Huge thanks to Mark and Doug for dropping in to our recent discovery session and donating copies of their book, Amazing Richmond Bridge. Discover our story this year: https://t.co/wU93T9tB4W
Thanks as ever to @Visit_Richmond1 for sharing!
Our Veteran and Family Services team came together for a couple of away days at the @Nat_Mem_Arb this week.
As a charity supporting veterans and their families, much of our work happens in different locations where opportunities to spend time together in person don’t come around often. That made the day even more valuable.
Set in a place dedicated to remembrance and reflection, it was a chance to connect as a team, share experiences, and take a moment to reflect on the impact of our work.
Time together like this strengthens how we support the Armed Forces community — not just as colleagues, but as a team with a shared purpose.
