Imagine how much easier budget management would be if funds didn’t expire every year. The constitution does not require budgets expire.

Instead of a “use it or lose it” system, you could simply bump, adjust, add, or delete items as needed — without the annual reset.

A rolling, constant budget would remove the frantic end-of-year spending sprees that force teams to buy things they don’t really need just to exhaust their allocation.

Think of how much money could be saved by eliminating that wasteful cycle.

Denial doesn’t clear the backlog — it just resets the process and starts everything over again. That’s not a 74% reduction. That’s simply kicking the can down the road and calling it progress. It’s hilarious that we need so many new laws just to remind our elected officials not to do things that are already illegal: Don’t sleep with your staff. Don’t commit insider trading. Don’t take bribes from foreign governments or lobbyists. And yes — actually act in the best interest of your constituents, your state, and your country.
While we’re at it, how about a law requiring members of Congress to show up for work on time, put in a full day, and stay off vacation until the job is actually done?

The U.S. Constitution places exactly ZERO requirements on the expiration of budgets.
That means there is no constitutional reason for the federal government to shut down—ever.
Any government shutdown is therefore a clear dereliction of duty by every Representative, and every Senator.

You need a birth certificate and photo ID just to get a passport, yet somehow we’re told it’s too hard for American citizens to show ID to vote? No one needs a passport to vote — they just need to prove they’re a legal American citizen.

I have posted this before, and I will post it again.
Veterans will never come first as long as VA bureaucrats are shielded from accountability behind layers of NGOs and contractors. These officials face zero consequences for failure.
What veterans need is not more VA buildings — it’s actual access to care. Every county in America has hospitals, doctors, and clinics, yet many veterans are still forced to drive hundreds of miles just to reach a VA facility.
