Almost 20 years ago, I applied for a job at @Google. I did not get through. I told myself I would probably never set foot inside a Google office.

A few days ago, Google invited me to its new Bengaluru office, Ananta, for the Google Developer Experts Summit - as a @GoogleDevExpert for Cloud AI.

I’m proud to be part of a community of around 100 experts in India in this prestigious GDE program. I often joke about being the “oldest person in the room,” and at this summit, I may well have been the oldest GDE who’s fast approaching 50!

Life does not always take us where we first hope to go. Sometimes, it brings us back to the same dream through a path we could never have planned - more experienced, more prepared, and with a deeper purpose.

A great reminder - Never Say Never & Keep learning. Keep building. Keep showing up.
