Im glad we successfully derailed the “is AI my new god?” discourse and turned it into “is AI even useful?” which is much healthier and productive topic.

Igreja evangélica dilui a culpa católica.

We saw Resident Evil and it’s a good movie, fantastic movie. Visuals good, story good, effects great.
If you get easily pissed off by dumb-assery, mind your blood pressure.
Had me murmuring a storm in the theater.
Very good tho, only minor notes, would absolutely recommend.

Yes. Ultimately these are companies that are designing malfunctioning, dangerous products akin to computer viruses, but if they convince us the products themselves are alive and have goals then they can say "Claude did it" instead of "we did it."

If starting a private school is so easy that reporters can do it as an experiment, maybe taxpayers shouldn’t be forced to bankroll private religious schools with virtually no meaningful accountability.

Public money should come with public accountability.

Hi @TeamYouTube , how come @warnerbros can claim portions of a video that don't contain more than a cumulative 10 seconds of their content, in the process claiming ownership over a majority of clips that don't belong to them, all in a video that is a textbook case of fair use?

Growing up, a hit song crossed demographics whether the genre was your favorite or not. People who don’t primarily listen to country still know Dolly, Shania, Carrie, The Chicks, etc. because they made actual hit records that crossed over. If a song can spend 23 weeks at #1, breaking records that stood for 20+ years, while a huge portion of the public is sincerely saying they’ve never heard it, maybe the conversation isn’t “people hate country.” Maybe @RollingStone should be writing about how streaming-era chart dominance no longer equals cultural dominance because there’s some trickery at play. That’s the real story being avoided. Don’t gaslight us.

Baffling to see people trying to dunk on this obviously correct, and important, stance.
