What happens when a student-athlete enters the transfer portal?

1️⃣ Player notifies their school of intent to transfer.
2️⃣ School submits the request to the NCAA.
3️⃣ Name enters the portal (usually within 48 hours).
4️⃣ Other schools can now contact the player.
