Ironwood is officially live on Zcash.
At block height 3,428,143, the NU6.3 upgrade activated on mainnet and introduced a new shielded pool built with stronger security guarantees.
The original Orchard pool is now restricted.
Any ZEC leaving Orchard must pass through the turnstile, meaning the pool can never release more ZEC than was verifiably deposited.
🔐 Stronger shielded security
🔎 Independently verifiable supply integrity
🛡️ Greater protection against counterfeit ZEC
🥷 Privacy remains fully intact
There is currently no evidence the Orchard vulnerability was exploited or that the ZEC supply was affected.
Zcash responded to a vulnerability by making the protocol stronger without sacrificing privacy.
That is exactly how unstoppable private money should evolve.
Ironwood is live.
Bullish for $ZEC.
This is more bullish for $ZEC than people realize.
Fortitude has energized its new 12 MW facility in Nebraska, taking its total power portfolio to more than 60 MW.
With electricity costing around $0.045 per kWh, Fortitude expects to reduce its direct cost of mining ZEC from roughly $70 to around $40 per coin.
⛏️ More efficient Zcash mining
📈 Greater capacity to scale operations
🏗️ Stronger institutional infrastructure
💰 More serious capital entering the Zcash ecosystem
Real facilities. Real investment. Real conviction.
The market is still underestimating what is being built around $ZEC.
