𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗥𝗡𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲/𝟮𝟳!
Portishead Town F.C. are thrilled to confirm that 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲 will remain with the Posset for the 2026/27 season!
Since arriving ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, "JT" has become a huge favourite with the Posset faithful.
Featuring in all 50 games last season and scoring 21 goals and assisting 20, Jack consistently delivered when it mattered most.
Whether leading the line from the start or making an impact from the bench, Jack proved himself to be a real match-winner time and time again. His energy, work rate and eye for goal made him a key part of another successful season at Bristol Road.
Others wanted him, but he turned them down to stay with posset. Brilliant to have you with us again, JT!

𝗛𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗦 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗬!
Portishead Town F.C. are delighted to announce that 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗛𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘁 has committed to the club for the 2026/27 season!
A key part of the double-winning side of 2024/25, the centre-back made 39 appearances as the Posset finished runners-up in the Southern League last season. Hamish has made over 200 appearances in all competitions for the club.
"H" was a huge figure in a defence that kept 21 clean sheets last season, while his ability to step out from the back and pick a pass forward has become a trademark of his game.
Despite receiving lucrative offers from elsewhere, that we were unable to match, his passion for posset was too much. We're delighted to have you with us again, Hamish!

𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀
Portishead Town F.C. can confirm the departures of Jay Murray, Tom Llewellyn, Lucas Vowles, Jakob Glover, Corey Evans and Sam Watkins.
We thank all six players for their hard work, commitment and efforts during their time at Bristol Road, and wish them every success in the next steps of their football journeys.
𝗝𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘆 arrived at Bristol Road in October 2024 and immediately made himself at home. 45 goals in 78 appearances speaks for itself. Jay played an integral role in the club's league and cup double in his first season, before helping the Posset to a Southern League runners-up finish in the campaign just gone. He moves on looking for football higher up the pyramid.
𝗧𝗼𝗺 𝗟𝗹𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆𝗻 joined Portishead ahead of the 2024/25 season and quickly established himself as the metronome in the Posset midfield. 84 appearances and 6 goals later, he leaves the club with league and cup winners' medals, along with the respect and thanks of everyone at PTFC, as he looks for football closer to home.
𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘀 𝗩𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝘀 arrived ahead of the 2025/26 season and impressed in our first year at Step 4, scoring 21 goals across all competitions. Often used from the bench, Lucas never gave less than 100% for the shirt, and he leaves in search for more regular football.
𝗝𝗮𝗸𝗼𝗯 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 joined on loan from Weston-Super-Mare mid-season, making 18 appearances and keeping 10 clean sheets - including a run of 8 in 9 games! Some stand out performances were crucial as posset secured second place. Jakob returns to his parent club following his very successful loan period.
𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘀 and 𝗦𝗮𝗺 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗸𝗶𝗻𝘀 both arrived in March to give the Posset a timely boost for the run-in. Both scored in the Somerset Cup semi-final and played important roles as the club finished the season strongly.
Thank you, Muzz, Lewy, Lucas, Jakob, Corey and Sam — you're welcome back at Bristol Road any time and we wish you the best of luck for the future.

𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝘆𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝗴𝗮𝗻 💬
The off-season is nearly over and before we know it, we'll be back on the training pitch getting ready to go again.
The squad is coming together really nicely and with our pre-season fixtures now in place, there's a real sense of excitement building around the club ahead of 2026/27.
The success we've enjoyed over the last three years has been incredible, but everyone involved knows that it hasn't just been about what happens on the pitch. The support from the Posset faithful has played a massive part in everything we've achieved. Home and away, week in and week out, you've been right behind us and the players never take that for granted.
Season ticket details will be available online soon, so keep an eye out for those.
We'd love to see as many of you as possible through pre-season and then behind us again as that all-important 12th man when we step into the 2026/27 season together.
Let's make it another one to remember.

🚨𝗪𝗢𝗢𝗗𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲/𝟮𝟳!
Portishead Town are absolutely delighted to announce that Ollie Woodhouse has committed to the club ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The classy defender rejoined Posset for his secord spell with the club in August last year, signing from Taunton Town. Ollie went on to make 44 appearances last term, anchoring a defence that kept 21 clean sheets.
An absolute Rolls-Royce of a defender, retaining his services is a massive boost for the campaign ahead.
Thank you to the Harrington family, who will be sponsoring Ollie for the upcoming season!
