The PFD Fire Investigation Team has determined the cause of last evenings All Hands fire on Peaks Island: Accidental. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
Breaking News: All Hands struck for 851 Seashore Ave on Peaks Island for a cottage on fire. Mainland companies are responding onboard Marine 1 to assist Peaks Island crews.
Breaking News: A vehicle fire has closed I295 in the area of Exit 4. The Southbound lane is opening shortly but the Northbound lane will remain closed. Avoid the area if possible as traffic will be delayed.
Update on All Hands: corrected address was 74 Elm Street. Companies had fire in the walls that is now extinguished. Command has begun releasing companies.
3rd Alarm Update for 151 North street: crews are still heavily engaged in containing the main body of fire. Multiple mutual aid departments are enroute to cover city firehouses.
