I have mixed feelings about Scotland being in NATO post Independence Day. Because of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine I can now see the merits of being a member of NATO but I still worry about being part of a “body” that has a first strike option to use nuclear weapons.

I’ve often wondered why the SNP doesn’t put up candidates in certain English seats. In areas like Corby, Luton, Coventry where Scots moved to work. If they won seats it would be symbolic, give a foothold in England and give us more seats. After all the Tories stand in Scotland.

Nicola was a shining beacon during the height of the covid pandemic in Scotland. With her daily tv broadcasts she explained what was happening and she helped reassure us we would recover from it. Even many in Labour and Lib Dems praised her. Many in England wished she wss PM.
