Double Pride of Portsmouth winners for Allyson Lloyd, Microbiology Lab Manager and the Microbiology Lab Team. At the forefront of the PHU covid response. Congratulations to all of you - very well deserved! #prideofportsmouth
Today we welcomed Divisional Director, Dr Matthew Wood. Matthew took the opportunity to thank all staff for their CoVID and non-CoVID related efforts - keeping our patients safe every day.
What a week! From 0 to 300 antibody tests a day and now prepared for that to increase over the coming week. Congratulations to everyone involved from the lab team to phlebotomy to admin.
Very proud of our Microbiology team and their contribution to delivering the target of 100,000 tests per day. Started with 48 tests a day now on course to deliver 500. New ways of working underway. Staff from other areas of Path now trained. All done with goodwill and humour!
With a 'Good' rating from CQC this week and a rollout of new laboratory equipment later this year, now is a fantastic opportunity to join the Histopathology Team at Portsmouth Hospitals. @QAHospitalNews. Follow the link to the NHS jobs website.

The CQC publishes their recent inspection report today. It demonstrates great progress with improvements delivered by everyone who works at PHT. We still have more to do, but its a great platform to deliver even better outcomes for our patients in the future. @QAHospitalNews
