All about Super Smash Bros. Project M! || Loves all Smash || Lurks the Project M twitter search feed || Not looking for a fight, only to understand others :)
I am going through every tweet made on the last year that shows up on my PM search feed, so hey if you get a notification from me, don't be surprised! Just trying to reach out to the often-ignored Twitter side of the PM community.
@BrandonsBurgers @JomelaJome @ZekeHere There's not much to say this early on, but: Whatever mistakes they may be making, someone is going to learn from them. Remember, there was a Brawl+ before either Brawl- or Project M.
@Telemonic Oh, my apologies for misreading.
To that, i say: why care? I'm fairly aware of what Nintendo does to fan work (though it's usually less pronounced when it comes to mods - even PM itself never formally got any kind of DMCA), but fans usually do what they want not for success.
@ToonishBlaze @geektendo There are no reports of anyone being taken down from Youtube. Again, even the Twitch reports were only for a couple of tournaments, and it wasn't actually taking down, more like stopping them from streaming PM to begin with.
So yeah, you're 100% okay streaming PM on Youtube.
@FSMellon I suppose some people make do with Pro Controllers (in tournaments, even!), so if you see yourself getting used to that, it might be worth a shot still. Otherwise, yeah, i suppose you might as well go for PC Netplay, if you can do that.
"for no reason" Hey! I take offense to that! I'll have you know that spreading the love and joy of Project M is reason enough, thank you very much!
Anyway, here's a (very unofficial) PR video from Spain, where everyone looks... suspiciously similar... https://t.co/VZ2j7bKCtH
Yo! @PositivProjectM!
Since you're giving people's PM stuff exposure for no reason, Imma try to get in the bargain sale.
How about sharing a bit of that love with us spaniards? 💝💛💖

@FSMellon Have you figured it out yet? I can find a complete guide for you, but it's basically, get Homebrew up and running, then rip your copy of NTSC Brawl into a USB stick, then dl PM to a SD card, then use a USB loader to load PM by setting the appropriate options (varies by loader).
@NickDistrict14 Did you manage to get to a tournament? MDVA has a facebook group, here: https://t.co/EyNycymM9Z and i've also had recently a twitter convo on the subject, starting here: https://t.co/8xcvqaaZoI
@LISTNRADIO I don't know who exactly runs PM @ Xanadu nowadays, so i'll just tag a few people, and hope that the message goes through. It might be too late for you, and you're not saying anything new, but all criticism is welcome.
@BaconPancakesPM @Justbngoode @Reslived@HyperFlame1
@LavishMobbin @Sharkz_SSB @GATO_SSB@_Daniel_Bishop 👀
(btw, protip, get netplay if you want to see how you do, there's a guide at https://t.co/ODdQH0k5zy)
@Telemonic If you ask me, it's a better idea. Project M being so similar to Melee means people often feel the need to compare the two when they shouldn't. Although, on the other hand, this means they won't have the "jump start" PM had. It'll be interesting to see how it develops!
@DilbertFilbert And if you want a big streamer, why not check out @CLASHTournament or @TourneyLocator ? They're great guys who kept supporting Project M throughout everything.
@DilbertFilbert That's cool to hear! Unfortunately, i can't harness the power of Christmas to grant you your wish in its entirely, but i can tell you one thing: Xanadu, the tournament venue owned by the same people who own VGBootCamp, still supports Project M!
Not for everyone, but if you want to see a young youtuber discover Ganondorf chaingrabs, hold contradictory opinions on Wario, and other inappropriate content, here's your video: https://t.co/Kjrdkjw1ct
@TJ_DoodleGamer Oh, it's really unfortunate that Project M would leave such a sour taste for Smash as a whole to you. Maybe check out other Brawl mods (like Brawl Minus), or even other platform fighers, like Rivals of Aether? Smash is a very diverse series, with something for everyone.
