"The attack on Black Studies is part of that [right wing] agenda. When people say it's one department, we are not showing up to the battle. They take the stuff that is foundational to us." @sandylocks in Brum for #Backtalker tour. New @makeitplain pod: https://t.co/IsWJr6jg9L
Raise the colours isn’t a ‘patriotic’ operation, it’s a far right attempt to intimidate & threaten communities across Britain.

A memorial vigil will be held today in Birmingham to remember the life of Dea-John Reid who died aged 14 in 2021. 🕊️🕯️
Local entrepreneur and leader @DESJADDOO is calling for the community to show their solidarity and stand with him.
Dea-John Reid was stabbed to death on College Road in Kingstanding, Birmingham on 31st May 2021.
He was “hunted down” by a mob of white men and teenagers as racial abuse was hurled at him before succumbing to a fatal knife wound that was caught on CCTV footage.
Rest in Peace Dea-John Reid. 🙏🏾🖤🖤
