A community interest company delivering martialarts programmes which help reduce violence and conflict effectively.

It was brilliant to get our members down SBG Bishop Auckland at the weekend.
A couple of the members got some really important rounds in.
Massive thank you to @DaveyGrantMMA for organizing it and inviting us.
Our members recently met @BradBurton & Winston Davis for a motivational workshop.
It was incredible to hear their inspiring stories.
All of the members had a brilliant experience.
Big news to share! 👊
We're over the moon to receive funding from the Northumbria VRU and @NorthumbriaPCC
The money will be a HUGE help for reducing crime and anti-social behavior in the local community.
Another smashing competition for the Positive Steps and M4TC members a couple of weeks ago at SGB Rochdale.
Some brilliant bouts across the day.
Well done everyone 👏
Areas of the North East have been named amongst the most dangerous place to live across England and Wales.
How is this beneficial for the future generations of our area?
If all they're exposed to is violence, crime, and conflict we can expect them to go the same way.
James is another one of our young members.
He uses mixed martial arts and Positive Steps to give him purpose to his days
He's already competed in competitions with positive results and feedback.
We can't wait to see what else he can achieve this year.
Keep working hard!
Mentor; A trusted counselor or guide.
AKA a leader or coach.
Young people need guidance.
They need positive role models.
And they need a shoulder to lean on.
Our coaches are there for our members every step of the way.
6 months ago Sam struggled with drink and drugs…
He was in a bad place mentally…
He’d sleep till 11am and felt like he had no purpose.
With the help of our initiative and partners at Made4TheCage Sam has made huge changes and progress.
Over 6 months he’s cut out the alcohol and drugs.
He wakes up at 6:30am to train or attack the day.
And he’s competed in competitions.
Sam is the perfect example of what we’re trying to do.
Last Saturday we took the Positive Steps and Made4TheCage members down to Birmingham for the Fightstar Interclub.
The competition was a great way to get more experience.
Test their current ability levels.
And to move one step closer to their 2023 goals.
3 ways MMA reduces crime, conflict, and violence...
1) Purpose. Being involved in MMA gives a lot of young people a purpose to their day.
2) Discipline. The ability to complete tasks even when you don't feel like it.
3) The expert coaches and leaders.
The stats don't lie.
Youth violence involving weapons is on the rise.
We need projects and initiatives in place that can educate young people on the alternatives.
April 22nd 2023...
Our partner gym Made4TheCage are bringing their flagship MMA show BACK to the North East.
Their show has been the starting point for some of the biggest names you know in MMA.
Here's hoping it inspires a NEW generation of young people.
The stats we've attached are staggering.
They go a long way to explaining why young people think crime is the only way to build a life.
This stems from a lack of care, mentors, and leaders in the educational system.
This has to change.
