Last year around this period, my wife gave birth to our last daugther and after two weeks we started facing complications.

She could hardly walk, she started rejecting whatever she ate. My Mother and Mother in-law came up with all sorts of theories.

My mother for example claimed there is one rite we had to perform despite knowing that I will not do any rite because of my faith.

I reassured my wife and we returned to the hospital where she was admitted and despite treatment there was no progress. But we continued following medical treatment but above all praying to our God to intervene. During this period, She feared for her life, sometimes crying in secret because doctors seemed out of solutions.

Well God never fails, after ten days in the hospital with the mother and the new-born baby, she was discharged and we returned home.

It has been one year and this God has been faithful. He has kept us daily, daily.

Lord I praise you for your lovingkindness towards us. You are faithful.

While we stayed in the hospital these 10 days, there was this nurse who would help care for the baby everyday. Lord I pray you remember her labour of love, reward her beyond what she can ask or think according to your word...

This testimony is for someone going through a hard time, or someone experiencing sorrow after a blessing.

My God will arise for you, he will restore your joy and you will enjoy your blessing with gladness of heart in the name of Jesus the Christ.
