Nakai Scott, Andrew Elbert, and Chase Weirich led the team in hitting; while Caden Brocato, Kaleb Hoss, and Zac Voss all had double-digit strike outs on the mound over the course of the tournament!

The 19U boys brought home the championship for the Up & Coming Summer Opener Tournament against a field of club teams!
Both the semi-finals and championship ended with walk-off hits, including a suicide squeeze by Ben Nieder to cap a 5-run comeback in extra innings!

Today, the #Astros announced Zach Cole and Bryce Mayer as Minor League Player and Pitcher of the Year.
Prior to his debut, Cole slashed .279/.377/.539 in 97 games with @cchooks and @SLSpaceCowboys.
Mayer logged 87.2 IP in 2025, recording 112 strikeouts and posting a 4.11 ERA.
NEW FOR 26: Players who make the team in September will have 12 wks of pre-season workouts leading up to the start of the High School season. This will be free and included in your normal team fees for the season. They will take place at Griffin Baseball and include instruction.
All participants are asked to use the online tryout formand fill that out and bring it with them.
Check in for the 19U Team is 12:00 PM and it will start at 12:30 PM on September 14th.
Check in for the 17U Team is 2:00 PM and will start at 2:30 PM on September 14th.
Tryouts for our 2026 teams will be held at Ronsick Field.
