@IlanaSlutsky@davidwest_irl@ant_murphy Agreed. This rule also requires those receiving the news to react with the understanding this is the policy. I’ve seen situations where some1 is seriously burned because the receivers decide “this person has an unusual amount of bad news!” when what is unusual is the transparency
If they follow through with this, well, I'll miss those of you I still follow and interact with. But that will be the end. I'll be here as often as I am on Facebook. Which was... years ago?
I have ignored past "we've found it!" announcements because they lacked credibility from the start. But there is reason to be more credulous here, though still skeptical.
A group of researchers in Seoul claim to have discovered a “room-temperature superconductor”. But the field has a chequered history. Scientists around the world are racing to test the material https://t.co/YONCH1MnNH
Noticing a trend now where I'm getting what are clearly ads in my "Following" feed, from accounts I don't follow, without those ads being marked as advertisements. This site continues to degrade.
Good luck proving that Trump knew he lost the election, when he—whether behind closed doors or in public, whether with one person or massive crowds—has consistently maintained that he won with an apparent passionate sincerity
The man is running the company the way a teenage boy manages their school locker, stuffing it with all the pubescent edge they can get their mits on, yet so many act like he’s executing strokes of genius.
Musk has more important things to worry about as well. Like figuring out how to get back to preventing the spread of child abuse imagery. But sure, SF responding to Musk’s childlike “neener neener neon” sign is just a bad look for SF.
Musk *wants* to get in a fight with the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, and they are going to walk right into this one. It won’t look good for them. There’s a lot of other more important things they should be spending their time on (housing, affordability, safety, reviving downtown & small businesses) but they won’t be able to help themselves.
And Tokyo is easily the most impressive city I’ve ever visited. The public transit is built within what are medium sized cities under the main city. Massive.
Japan was incredible - Every walk down what seemed to be a backstreet would inevitably have something photo worthy tucked away. Kyoto was especially filled with small treasures everywhere we went.
@RadioFreeTom@ThePudyTat@KVullis@elonmusk People who act like you’re just so lucky to have all of us following you have the value completely backwards. Fundamentally backwards. The only thing of value Musk has left here is the presence of people like you on this platform. Without it, people like me leave.
@RadioFreeTom@ThePudyTat@KVullis@elonmusk You’ve earned your notoriety through the depth of your knowledge and atypical level of talent at sharing that knowledge through your writing, not through posting here.
