3 lighthouse keepers vanished without a trace in 1900.
No bodies. No struggle. Just an empty lighthouse on a storm-lashed rock in the North Atlantic.
This is the real story.
December 15, 1900
A steamer passing the remote Flannan Isles (west of Scotland’s Outer Hebrides) noticed something wrong: the lighthouse on Eilean Mòr was dark.
Inside should have been three men:
• Principal Keeper James Ducat, 43
• Assistant Thomas Marshall, 40
• Occasional Keeper Donald McArthur, 28
They were never seen again.
Bad weather delayed the relief ship Hesperus.
It finally reached the island on Boxing Day, December 26.
No flag flying.
No keepers on the landing.
No answer to the ship’s whistle or flare.
Relief keeper Joseph Moore climbed the 160 steps alone… and found the lighthouse empty.
What he discovered:
• Lamps cleaned and refilled, ready for lighting
• Clocks stopped
• Two sets of oilskins missing
• One coat still hanging on its peg (McArthur had gone out without his)
• Kitchen tidy
Outside, the west landing showed violent storm damage:
A supply box smashed open 110 feet above the sea.
Heavy iron railings twisted.
A one-ton rock moved.
Northern Lighthouse Board superintendent Robert Muirhead investigated.
His official conclusion:
On the afternoon of December 15 the men went down to secure ropes and equipment at the west landing.
An enormous wave — far higher than normal — swept up the rock face and took them all.
Death certificates simply read: “probably drowning.”
No bodies were ever
recovered.
Over the decades the story grew.
Some later retellings added an uneaten meal on the table, an overturned chair, or logbook entries filled with dread.
Those dramatic details first appeared years later and are not in the original 1900 reports.
The core facts remain: three experienced keepers vanished in a single day, and the sea almost certainly claimed them.
A lonely lighthouse.

The American public was the target of these planned ISIS attacks and we as taxpayers are paying for her defense attorneys to fight for her ability to remain in the U.S. and continue her ISIS plots.

The DOJ’s first-ever case under the Alien Terrorist Removal Act, which was created in 1996 but never used until now. They’re targeting Nazira Haji Zada, a 47-year-old Afghan green card holder from Fort Worth, Texas. Her son, Abdullah, who was 17 at arrest, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 15 years, agreeing to deportation. Her son-in-law, Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, pleaded guilty to material support for ISIS and firearms offenses after trying to buy two AK-47s and 500 rounds from an undercover FBI agent for a mass-casualty attack on Election Day 2024. The FBI alleges Zada pledged allegiance to ISIS, indoctrinated her children with the ideology, and helped conceal the family’s relocation plans to ISIS territory from her husband. She hasn’t been criminally charged, and her public defenders are challenging the court’s constitutionality.
Using children as a vector for ideology turns family homes into training grounds. That’s the real danger with this case.
Nazira Haji Zada has public defenders. In the Alien Terrorist Removal Act case, the Department of Justice appointed them. Taxpayers are covering her legal costs through this federal appointment.
The plot didn’t specifically target President Trump. According to court documents and FBI statements, Tawhedi and his co-conspirator planned to attack large gatherings of Americans, aiming for mass casualties on Election Day, November 5th, 2024. They intended to use two AK-47 rifles and 500 rounds of ammunition.
The first public hearing for Nazira Haji Zada’s case happened on July 30th, 2026, at the federal courthouse in D.C. The next one, on whether she stays detained, is scheduled for next week.

It came with the hashtag #shalom.
Boy George, who was set to star as King Herod in the acclaimed musical from August 3-15, said he was inspired to write the song after visiting the Nova exhibition which commemorates victims of the Islamic terrorist attack at the music festival and is being displayed in London.
“Why not put the word ‘genocide’ in a song. Why are people suddenly uncomfortable with that word?” the unabashed supporter of the Jewish state said in a post on Instagram Threads.

This is not the first time the Culture Club lead has voiced his support for Israel.
