When all your fans are underground rap fans with niche rating scales so all your shit is a 44/100 average so people think youre ass and you gotta be like No my Fans are just Losers
@pASSthehandgren Life is telling people I like underground hip-hop and watching the life drain from their eyes when they realize I'm talking about Roc Marci and not xaviersobased
Whiteness is not a culture or a biology; it is a historical political project built to exploit, dominate, and ultimately seeks the total elimination of human difference. To identify as white is not to claim heritage....it is to align oneself with the machinery of white supremacy, to become its violent enforcer. It is not neutral. Its not human. It is just pure violence.
"Treason to Whiteness Is Loyalty to Humanity."
~ Noel Ignatiev
@ReiikiAPOLLO I know it's been a complaint but it's also been mislevied. How many Southern trap artists been hit with it cause they grew up on something other than Tribe, Soulquarians or Wu-Tang? It's always felt like weirdo exclusionary regionalism to me
It's always funny to me when people say this cause I feel like you could count on one hand the number of rappers who aren't "students of the game". Is that not the norm?
Someone posted Tyler in the pit when Bow Wow was performing and I just want to remind folks that what we are seeing is a true hip hop fan and student of the game. It makes me smile
@ocirluvzabstrap 2010s hip-hop movement based in LA that combined wonk production with the nerdy, self-referential lyricism of abstract hip-hop in the blog era. Some examples:

@hunkyhippo25 I think Vought getting away with it all largely untouched captures perfectly the underlying cynicism of the show. Whatever they'll probably tackle it in yet another sequel series
