Government Turns to New Taxes to Finance UGX84.2 Trillion Budget
Uganda plans to increase tax collections to finance its expanded budget of UGX84.2 trillion for the 2026/27 financial year.
While presenting the proposals before Parliament of Uganda, @henrymusasizi1 said the Uganda Revenue Authority (@URAuganda ) is expected to collect UGX44.5 trillion in tax revenue. This increase will help fund key government priorities.
