5 : What's next?
Now that I'm done with this, what do I wanna do?
Well, I'm still working on my Mechquest map, but now I have found myself with a desire for more. Who knows how long it'll take, but I would like to keep building AQW's Lore in Minecraft, bit by bit
4 : The Arcana Room
The last bit of work I did on my map was the Past Version of the Trophy Room. Drago says they're from "HIS conquests" and La mentions sabotaging "summoning nodes" in the next room, so I thought.. what if it was something else once, replaced by Drago's Ego
3 : Block Displays
Another heavily used element in my map was Block Displays. For those not aware, they are a form of rudimentary 3D modeling in Minecraft using blocks as entities. A majority of small detail work in this map was made using around 50 different Block Displays
2 : Mirrored designs
As a result, a big part of the fun of this map was really putting the focus on the contrast between both versions of each zone. I put in as many details as possibles to really make each be both recognisable as the same, and yet contrasting with one another
1 : Why Astravia?
To start off, here's one of my favorite aspect of this map. Astravia exists in both Past & Present state, in the Overworld & End Respectively. TP at the same coordinates in the other dimension, and you discover the other version of Astravia!
Ever wanted to visit Astravia from AQW in 3D? Well now you can, in a more cubic form
From the mysterious Garden, to the winding halls of the Astravian castle, explore them all in this lovingly made minecraft map at https://t.co/1RTkthlDXy
