Democrats should put together their own voter ID bill.

It contains ONE thing... it demands that all voters have a specific ID that is free of charge and easily accessible. Nothing else appears in the bill... just the ID.

Why? Because watch Republicans reject it 100%. It's not just about IDs, folks. It's about the two dozen other provisions in those bills. Show the public that the ID part is pure theater.

🚨BREAKING: Men posed as ICE agents and detained and assaulted a woman… and Tom Homan is telling everyone that they just have to comply with this.

A woman was driving on Highway 211, in Oregon, when a vehicle with flashing red and blue lights pulled behind her.

Believing she was being stopped by law enforcement, she pulled over.

Two men approached her vehicle, one was carrying a rifle, and they claimed to be ICE agents and told her she was being detained.

They pulled her out of her car, searched her, and put her in the back of their vehicle.

Then, a third man… who remained inside the vehicle… assaulted her.

He told her he was the “guard.”

The men were wearing tactical vests labeled “POLICE,” carrying fake badges, and wore face coverings.

They held her for nearly 20 minutes before telling her she was free to go… and then she drove herself to the hospital.

And while she was there, she reported that she started receiving text messages from someone claiming to be a law firm offering legal representation for her detention.

Federal authorities later confirmed this was NOT an official ICE operation… These were people pretending to be federal agents.

And this is exactly why Tom Homan telling people to “comply” with anyone claiming to be ICE is so incredibly dangerous.

Because what is a person supposed to do when someone in a tactical vest, carrying a gun, pulls them over with flashing lights and says they are federal agents?

Just trust them?

This is not about telling people to resist legitimate law enforcement.

This is about the government normalizing a system where anyone can look like an armed federal agent, claim to have authority over you, and expect you to obey without being able to verify who they are.

That doesn’t make people safer.

It makes everyone more vulnerable to being kidnapped, assaulted, or killed by criminals who know they can pretend to be ICE.

And while the police are trying to tell people if they are unsure if the traffic stop is legit, to keep driving until you find a safe place to pull over… we have seen multiple times what happens when people do that…

What's remarkable about this incredibly inaccurate meme (created by Colin Wright, not Elon) is that it says that Stephen Miller, Candace Owens, and Tucker Carlson have the same politics today as Paul Ryan and John McCain did in 2008. It's an objectively ridiculous claim.

Katie Miller has a master's degree and a career. It appears that she has consistently worked since she was 20. She can open a bank account, own property, and have a credit card in her name. She has access to no-fault divorce and would be entitled to child support for her baby if she and Stephen Miller divorce. She has laws protecting her against physical abuse and rape by her spouse. She had access to birth control and abortion, meaning that having a baby was a choice.

She is very much not living the life that the "propaganda. . . convinced" women was oppressive. She is living the life that feminism made possible.

Of course, she knows this. She's just a liar.

It's actually mind-boggling that @JDVance would say Watergate would be a "10 hour story" today.
Just to review, Nixon's aides authorized a break-in of the DNC HQ to install bugging equipment--in a caper foiled by a night watchman, who called police. They then enlisted the CIA to mislead the FBI that the break-in was related to a probe of malign foreign actors.
The entire operation was paid for by a slush fund controlled by the WH.
The WH also enlisted the IRS to probe hundreds of Nixon's political enemies.
The AG, the WH COS and several other top aides all were convicted and served time for their involvement in the crimes and coverup.
Nixon was caught on his own secret tape system conspiring with them but was pardoned a month after he resigned by his successor, Gerald Ford.
That Vance thinks this would be a "10 hour story" today speaks volumes about the moral and ethical degradation of the Trump era.
