This beautiful but simple set was created to commemorate the 1969 moon landing!

The 'Lunar' was made by Govancroft Pottery, the last surviving pottery that closed in the 1980s.

Burgh Hall home to beautiful Stephen Adam stained glass panels of Scottish trades; this is 1 of only 2 showing women’s work.

I love this pot too. The porcelain is so delicate and was considered to be a as good as some of the work produced in Limoges, France, the leaders in the field at the time.
No idea about the holes though. 🤔

@OssianLore @historicshops It's much the same problem as trying to ID pottery without marks - many patterns, moulds, transfer plates, etc were shared or bought between potteries. E.g. Dudson & Bells made identical mould relief Parian jugs using the same moulds. Willow pattern was made by everyone etc.
