🇺🇦 Mariia Vlasiuk, a trained combat medic of the 80th Air Assault Brigade evacuated dozens of wounded soldiers under heavy fire. This brave woman was awarded the Order for Courage III. degree.🫡

On 24 May 2022, Mariia was on her way to evacuate more wounded near Bilohorivka when Russian artillery struck her convoy.
The 27-year-old medic was killed instantly💔.

She dedicated her life to saving others and gave her own while doing so.

I talked to my BFF Tanya. She said she’s a nervous wreck because she can’t stop reading the news, and all the death and destruction are really getting to her.

We had to pause our conversation a few times when Shaheds were flying too close. I heard an explosion. She told me that one of the Shaheds was probably shot down nearby.

I talked to Max. He’s somewhere on the Eastern Front. He can’t tell me where. He said he was worried about his family back in Kyiv. They live near Tanya.

He added that he was exhausted beyond belief, but unbroken…
