if you genuinely get mad or jealous over other people sending more money to their oshi, then newsflash, they aren’t your oshi, they’re your parasocial fantasy.

you should be HAPPY someone is making it rain on them. lifting each other up and encouraging other people’s support should be the norm because it directly helps them achieve their goals and you end up getting more of content you love because of it.

i know it sucks when you can’t afford to splash the cash, especially in this economy, and it’s easy to feel jealous or that you aren’t ’good enough’ as a fan, but acting on those feelings and projecting them on to the people that can is fucking cringe, and in my eyes, you’re not a fan in any capacity, you’re just a different breed of hate watcher.

i don’t know how many times streamers have to tell you how much just turning up and watching the stream is enough. this isn’t said to be some conspiracy to try and make you feel better - it actually matters and is not only true, it’s free.

sending fuckass threatening DMs or subtweeting about this shit and making those fans second guess their support is actively HURTING your supposed ‘fav’, so either get a grip or please kindly fuck off
