A video came up titled 3 Ways to Jump Into a Group Conversation but why would you want 3 ways to jump into a group conversation when you could be having tea on your sofa
"So if you want me to keep my sanity, if you want me to leave the house wearing clothing, and do my job, and be a functioning human being then LET ME HAVE MY MINUTE"
Everytime I read that quote about not mistaking one's free time for their availability, I remember one of favorite co-worker's glorious rants. She didn't return someone's text or call once, and the person asked "what, you didn't have a minute to call back?" 1/3
Her response: "yes I had a minute but I needed that minute ALONE. Not talking on the phone. Not doing things for other people. I needed that minute to stare at the wall and scroll on Facebook and just BE." 2/3
I remember when I first got a job I thought now that I'm employed I need to dress like a proper woman about town. I wore heels everywhere, even to McDonald's. How embarrassing.
Just started watching Succession and what's up with all of them? Why do they hold doors open with their knees instead of their hand and climb over chairs and sit on the backs of chairs instead of on the chair?
