This was the world’s largest aircraft, AN-225 ‘Mriya’ (‘Dream’ in Ukrainian). Russia may have destroyed our ‘Mriya’. But they will never be able to destroy our dream of a strong, free and democratic European state. We shall prevail!
In coordination with 🇺🇸🇫🇷🇩🇪🇮🇹🇨🇦🇬🇧 I will now propose new measures to EU leaders to strengthen our response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and cripple Putin’s ability to finance his war machine. https://t.co/iU2waDzo9s
A priceless exchange of a brave Ukrainian citizen with Russian army stuck out of fuel. ENGLISH SUBTITLES.

“President Putin has chosen a premeditated war that will bring a catastrophic loss of life and human suffering,” President Biden says in a new statement. He will speak tomorrow morning. “Tonight, Jill and I are praying for the brave and proud people of Ukraine.”
Tonight, I have only one thing to say, from the bottom of my heart:
President Putin, stop your troops from attacking Ukraine.
Give peace a chance.
Too many people have already died.
Russian Military Strikes are being reported in the cities of Kharkiv, Odesa, Kyiv, Mariupol, and multiple other Major cities across Ukraine most likely using Sea and Land launched Cruise Missiles.
Unconfirmed reports that Ukrainian Airspace is being closed right now, this gives the the report of Russian Operations beginning at 4am more credence, it is currently 3:55am in Ukraine.
Putin just put Kafka & Orwell to shame: no limits to dictator's imagination, no lows too low, no lies too blatant, no red lines too red to cross.
What we witnessed tonight might seem surreal for democratic world. But the way we respond will define us for the generations to come.
Ukraine is already under attack: economic, cyber, military. One way to express solidarity with Ukraine is by going to Kyiv. We Baltic Ministers 🇱🇹🇱🇻🇪🇪 are going there later this week. If there is one place where EU politicians should be now – it‘s with our Ukrainian friends!
