🇬🇪Taką potrawę można dostać w restauracji Tavaduri w Batumi. Według mnie najlepsze miejsce do zjedzenia w tym mieście. Oprócz chinkali, mogę polecić także świetne jedzenie z grilla, ostri czy chaczapuri.

My take on the new roadmap for Ethereum:

TL;DR - many good things, a few unclear things, still a few problems.

The good:
- Recursive STARKs - excellent. Huge progress since the days where most of the Ethereum ecosystem was skeptical about the immense value of STARKs. This and more, recursive STARKs are the efficient way to go.

- Privacy - excellent.

- Formal verification - excellent.

- Quantum-safety - excellent. glad to see this as a high priority. I wish the Bitcoin community took a similar approach.

Unclear:
- New kinds of state: what does that mean? Who is affected by it?
Happy to hear explanations and opinions.

Needs improvement:
- 3-4 years as the timeline is way too long. Especially for quantum readiness.

- New EVM - makes sense given the chosen path with STARKs. The simplest, fastest, safest and wisest path goes through Cairo. It’s battle-tested, designed for ZK STARKs, is a next generation smart contract language.

2026 Predictions:

1. Privacy will continue to gain in mindshare, and I’m mildly hopeful that some TZEs and some technological upgrades make it through this year.

2. Ethereum and Solana will continue to battle out which is the best smart contract / defi blockchain, but the battle will not be decided by end of 2026.
Both Ethereum and Solana will remain powerful.

3. (Surpising prediction) Gaming will make a huge comeback with better onchain gaming.
I believe this will take place on Starknet. Why?
Native AA allows many features that gaming apps need, along with incredible scaling capabilities (check out the amazing games like @LootSurvivor and @LootRealms).

- remove KZG and trusted setup
- remove all elliptic curve pairing stuff (not only for quantum!! also for simplicity)
- fully move to hash based on L1
- no more wrapping of stark in snarks (for quantum, for simplicity too again)

+ bonus that no one is ready for this convo yet is:
- bring back some PoW and make Ethereum hybrid PoS + PoW. Why ? because STARKs use PoW anyway and ethereum is moving full force towards ZK. You could reuse PoW gadget on the L1 for the grinding of the ZK proof generation
