@RegularDude007@NUCLRGOLF Only way would work as if a group of private clubs agreed to rotate hosting every 5 to 6 years. Otherwise it’s a waste of time.
@EL_Cheapito@TalkinBaseball_ The “win” stat admittedly isn’t the greatest for pitchers since they can’t control run support. Even with that said, I still don’t think overall he has enough quality years to be HoF cause of the injuries.
@CausalSender6 Will also be interesting, assuming there is a cap, how long clubs have to be compliant. You can’t be forced to trade existing players away cause a cap is implemented. I’m assuming 4-5 years at least.
@CausalSender6 I disagree. There’s only so many mega contracts that can go to each team without going over the cap and/or still being competitive. The nfl cuts players “cause of their cap number”. Same can’t happen in baseball cause contracts are guaranteed.
@CausalSender6 The problem is getting a floor and a cap that players and owners can agree on. Both of them want to maximize their income. So who knows how long that’s going to take. Players feel like their income is being limited. Owners want to profits. Going to get ugly.
@CausalSender6 I just don’t think the players are going to agree to a low number for a cap. Hopefully they can figure it out and avoid to stoppage, but not looking great.
