Nonsense.

I’m a former Romney Republican, turned Dem voter - and while I might not agree with the DSA on economic policy, dismissing them or claiming they are radicals are stupid.

The world has changed.

Affordability has changed.

It now takes the minimum worker 50,000 hours of labor to afford the median home.

A single healthcare emergency can bankrupt you.

An education at a good university costs more than most Americans make in a year.

And we are on the cusp of the largest upheaval in the labor market since the Industrial Revolution.

People are voting for DSA candidates because they have the guts to change us off of unsustainable paths which hurt working families - while others push for incremental change.

I believe strong unions make good capitalism, because in actual capitalism your 40 hour week needs to be enough for you to carve out a life with.

I also think we should have some fundementals healthcare, because we’re human.

And that the cost of living and abuse of tax loopholes have created an unsustainable world for most Americans while the ultra wealthy out earn nation states.

While we believe in different economic paths to getting there, I would happily support DSA candidates who stand up for improving people’s lives.

And anyone who thinks they are radical for wanting living wages, or fundementals healthcare, is too disconnected from how most American’s live.

The reason Clinton era Democrats existed is because working class was still a living wage we could invest in back then.

It isn’t today.

Something needs to change.
