@JeremiahHeals Questionable, they can ask for courier fee instead of a “membership fee.” May free use of swimming pool ba? Free accommodation sa isang villa nila? 😅✌️Is it a private clinic? You can transfer naman to other hubs.
I heard one facility was able to fund their own bldg from OHAT alone, so why can’t they? Also aren’t they operating as a semi private clinic? So they charge for their premium services but still receives funding? @outragemag@StephXChristiG
Make this make sense! A certain clinic is fundraising with our Kween to refurbish its facility with every purchase of a 🌈 bag. They have PLHIV clients, meaning they receive OHAT and a percentage of that can and should be used for facility enhancement or renovation.
A PLHIV pays P39,000 a year for OHAT x let’s say 300 clients, that’s a total of 11,700,000 per year. Divide it by 12 months you have 975,000 you can spend on clients laboratory tests (VL, CD4), vaccines or facility renovation, per month.
Sa true lang naman tayo. Kapag ang isang PLHIV ay naggagamutan at virally suppressed na, hindi na ito nakakahawa. So bakit ka pa matatakot sa kanila (PLHIV)? #EndHIVStigma#UequalsU#EndAIDS
This is sad. All the more reasons to march on #Pride this June. As long as we are still experiencing discrimination, gender-based violence, our fight towards equality won’t stop. #TransRightsAreHumanRights#EqualityForAll
While each treatment facilities have Case Managers from LGU, DOH, partners and funders, their manpower is very limited and as a community we have to help each other to attend to this concern.
As of December 2023, PLHIV who are considered “lost to follow up,” meaning they are not enrolled to ART and have not done ARV refill for a month, have ballooned to 23,707.
