Oil prices drop over 1% to multi-month lows on US–Iran deal optimism
——
Oil prices dropped by more than 1% on Thursday, reaching their lowest level since the first trading day of the US-Israeli war on Iran, as a US–Iran interim agreement aimed at ending hostilities, reopening the Strait of Hormuz, and easing sanctions on Tehran improved the global supply outlook.
Brent crude futures declined by $1.02, or 1.28%, to $78.53 per barrel at 10:36 GMT, while US West Texas Intermediate fell $1.48, or 1.93%, to $75.31 per barrel.
Brent hit its lowest level since 2 March, the first trading day after initial US–Israeli strikes on Iran, while WTI fell to its weakest point since 4 March.
Trump always has a tweet for every occasion.
"What a lousy deal we made with Iran! We got nothing out of it, except becoming a laughingstock because of our stupidity. And they got everything, including a reprieve and a huge sum of money!"
Damn right.

Netanyahu preparing lobbying campaign to influence final US-Iran deal, CNN reports
——
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is preparing a lobbying campaign aimed at influencing the final terms of a US-Iran agreement during the upcoming 60-day negotiation period, according to CNN, citing an Israeli source.
Netanyahu reportedly believes a final deal will ultimately be reached, but doubts Tehran will uphold its commitments under the agreement.
According to the report, Netanyahu plans to mobilize pro-Israel senators and prominent right-wing media figures to pressure US President Donald Trump and shape the negotiations.
Among those expected to amplify his message is Fox News commentator Mark Levin, a leading voice within the MAGA movement who has recently criticized the emerging agreement despite his close ties to Trump.
Levin echoed concerns attributed to Netanyahu in comments on the deal, saying, "I don't believe Iran will ever comply with any agreement, but I love Trump." CNN reported that the Israeli Prime Minister's Office did not respond to requests for comment.
