I've been tracking healthcare worker deaths since March and have found over 800. In the beginning, many deaths were in New England, NY, and MI. Things have changed. Texas, California, Arizona, and Florida have now taken the tragic lead. #getusppe#healthcareheroes#WearAMask
My heart is heavy after hearing about the loss of a medical student in the class below mine. Medical students are three times more likely to die by suicide as their same-age peers. How can we better support the mental health of those in medicine? This needs to be a top priority.
Frontline worker had:
(+)COVID on April 28th
(-) May 5th
(-) May 8th
Returned to work..
(+) again on July 7th.
So maybe don't be counting on #HerdImmunity too much. 🤔🤷♀️

My 100 bed ER is now overwhelmed & our hospital has closed to non-critical transfers and is starting to look for ways to transfer patients OUT.
And the case load continues to climb.
And the outlying smaller hospitals will all be overwhelmed soon.
Please stay home & wear masks.
Heroes???
Bullshit.
That’s your word.
Your word, so that when we die, you can use it to feel better about yourselves
None of us want to die
None of us want our Zoom funerals to be touted with the word hero,
because we are not.
“It’s my body. I don’t care if I get sick. The government can’t tell me what to do, it’s against my rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”- unnamed Trump Republican
So are you saying the government shouldn’t have a say regarding one’s body? Please, tell me more.
