Here is a narrative that has not been mentioned yet.
Everybody loves the idea that we created an @onlyFans account for marmots, onlyMarms. Now, both Pr Blumstein and I were in the field in Colorado when it happened. Our wives, 1000km away from us, got notifications via bank accounts and emails that we created accounts on onlyFans and our payment method was approved. Funnily, neither of us talked to his spouse beforehand. I let you guess how the next phone call home went. 🤣

As a team of researcher on marmots we are struggling to survive budget cuts, despite running the second longest research on mammals (64 years, 5000 individuals). Let's take a step back and think about this narrative, and the story that it is driving.

A truly unique token, with an impactful story, with the mission of saving the 2nd oldest animal research center in the whole world.

🧑‍🔬 The M.A.D Lab has been researching on Marmots in the Rocky Mountains since 1963. They have had their government fundings cut off and operated on a reserve for the last few years.

The Reserve is thinning up, so the Team of Scientists got creative to raise attention and donations. They created the OnlyMarms @onlyfans profile, where they would post cute pictures in exchange for Donations.

Born was the $OnlyMarms token, with all the fees redirected to @PrJulienMartin the current lead of the Marmot Research project.

After properly explaining what this is all about, Julien felt safe to get onboard and over a period of 24 hours adapted the token as an official fundraising token to help keep the M.A.D Lab operating.

💰In not even 3 days, we have now generated close to $25,000 for the Lab and we are just getting started - as well as the whole story.

📺 Dr. Daniel T. Blumstein the co-lead of the Marmot Research project has appeared in two TV interviews in the last two days, mentioning the $OnlyMarms token - one of the few times where a meme token can actually have positive, impactful media appearances.

These two appearances have just been over the last 2 days. Blumstein and Julien will keep their effort on raising awareness and making media appearances up - as the goal of receiving back funding has yet to be achieved.
