Respected Hon'ble Chief Minister @CMOTamilnadu Health Minister @arunraajkg ,

We are residents of Lakshmi Nagar 2nd Street, Jalladayanpet, Medavakkam, Chennai - 600100. However, there is a serious drainage overflow issue at the junction of Anna Salai Road (near the turn from Rice Mill Road leading to Lakshmi Nagar).

This junction is the primary access point for Lakshmi Nagar residents. We have to pass through it every day for work, school, medical emergencies, and other daily needs. The sewage water continuously overflows onto the road, forcing residents to walk through contaminated water.

This poses a serious public health risk and increases the chances of disease outbreaks. The problem has persisted for a long time and affects multiple apartments and houses in our locality, including Palmshade Apartment, where families with 1- and 2-year-old children reside.

I have attached photos and videos of the location as evidence. We sincerely request the authorities to take immediate action as soon as possible and provide a permanent solution to this issue to protect the health and safety of all residents.

நாங்கள் ஜல்லடையன்பேட்டை, மேடவாக்கம் பகுதியில் உள்ள லட்சுமி நகர் 2வது தெருவில் வசித்து வருகிறோம். ஆனால், ரைஸ் மில் ரோட்டிலிருந்து ��ட்சுமி நகர் செல்லும் அண்ணா சாலை சந்திப்பில் கழிவுநீர் தொடர்ந்து சாலையில் வழிந்து வருகிறது.

லட்சுமி நகர் பகுதி மக்கள் அனைவரும் வேலை, பள்ளி, மருத்துவ அவசர தேவைகள் மற்றும் அன்றாட தேவைகளுக்காக இந்த சந்திப்பை கட்டாயமாக கடந்து செல்ல வேண்டியுள்ளது. ஆனால், கழிவுநீர் சாலையில் தேங்கி வழிவதால் மக்கள் தினமும் அசுத்தமான நீரில் நடந்து செல்ல வேண்டிய நிலை ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது.

இது பொதுமக்களின் ஆரோக்கியத்திற்கு மிகப்பெரிய அச்சுறுத்தலாக இருந்து, தொற்று நோய்கள் பரவும் அபாயத்தை ஏற்படுத்துகிறது. இந்த பிரச்சினை நீண்ட காலமாக நீடித்து வருகிறது. எங்கள் பகுதியில் உள்ள பல குடியிருப்புகள் மற்றும் வீடுகள், குறிப்பாக Palmshade Apartment-ல் வசிக்கும் 1 மற்றும் 2 வயது குழந்தைகள் உட்பட சிறு குழந்தைகள் உள்ள குடும்பங்களும் இதனால் பாதிக்கப்படுகின்றனர்.

இந்த இடத்தின் புகைப்படங்கள் மற்றும் வீட���யோக்களை ��ணைத்துள்ளேன். பொதுமக்களின் நலன் மற்றும் பாதுகாப்பைக் கருத்தில் கொண்டு, தயவுசெய்து உடனடியாக நடவடிக்கை எடுத்து, இந்த பிரச்சினைக்கு விரைவில் நிரந்தர தீர்வு வழங்குமாறு தங்களை பணிவன்புடன் கேட்டுக் கொள்கிறோம்.

சென்னை மற்றும் புறநகர் பகுதிகளில் "மிக்ஜாம்" புயல் கனமழை காரணமாக குழந்தைகள் பெண்கள் முதியவர்கள் உட்பட பொதுமக்கள் பெரும் சிரமத்திற்கு உள்ளாகி உள்ளனர். ஆயிரக்கணக்கான மக்கள் குடிநீர் மற்றும் உணவின்றியும் போதிய அடிப்படை வசதிகளின்றியும் தவித்து வருவதாக செய்திகள் வருகின்றன. வெள்ளம் சூழ்ந்துள்ள பகுதியில் இருந்து மீட்க உதவி கேட்டு இன்னமும் நிறைய குரல்கள் சமூக வலைத்தளங்கள் வழியாக வந்த வண்ணம் உள்ளன.

This is what I never dreamt off. I have keep on posting for help from corporation for more than 5 days. No one helped us in evacuation of water now the water almost hits upto hip level. We need emergency help @chennaicorp @Subramanian_ma @CMOTamilnadu @mkstalin @Udhaystalin

Myself and my sick mother is getting affected day by day and we are blank what to do next as no one helped us in evacuation of water

We have aldy reached 3 days ago in the tweet. Corporation people came with jcb 2days before and went without any process for evacuation. After that none came.We are afraid of going out for groceries.
