Was I wrong yesterday?
May be..
I am trying to be on the right side today. So, don't pull me to the past and judge me. I am ready to change and do the right thing today.
I want to be known as liberal, secular (you know..a gentleman).
I don't think majority is always right.
OPEN LETTER TO THE CHIEF JUSTICE OF INDIA & THE ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA
When candidates can be excluded from an election before a single vote is cast, the question is no longer about one candidate- it is about the health of our democracy itself.
Today, around 300 concerned citizens from across India have signed an Open Letter to the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India and the Election Commission of India expressing grave concern over the rejection of Smt. Meenakshi Natarajan’s Rajya Sabha nomination.
This is not merely about one candidate, one political party, or one election.
It is about a larger constitutional principle: Can a democratic contest be effectively decided before voting even begins by excluding a candidate on disputed grounds?
Our letter respectfully urges the Election Commission to review the decision and ensure that the statutory safeguards governing scrutiny of nominations are faithfully followed. We further urge all constitutional institutions to uphold the principles of fairness, transparency, and equal participation that lie at the heart of India’s democratic framework.
Democracy does not begin on polling day. It begins with the right of every eligible candidate to enter the electoral arena and seek the confidence of the electorate in accordance with law.
We are only a small representative group. Many more citizens across the country share this concern.
The strength of Indian democracy lies not in the victory of any particular candidate or party, but in the unwavering commitment of our institutions to free, fair and inclusive elections.
Open Letter attached.

When a comedian asked few questions to Arnab, govt and @IndiGo6E was quick to ban him for life. What will happen to these guys. Wait and watch., Nothing will happen.
@E_MindsetHQ The case in point that you mentioned is valid but that is not the common scenario
I have never seen any doctor or hospital doing things on time. All of them saving lives ? Hmm
We are deeply disturbed by @POTUS sharing this hateful, racist screed targeting Indian and Chinese Americans.
Endorsing such rants as the president of the United States will further stoke hatred and endanger our communities, at a time when xenophobia and racism are already at an all time high.
We ask @realDonaldTrump to reconsider, delete this post & recognize the indelible contributions of Asian Americans to our great country.
The Election Commission of India has officially abandoned its constitutional duty to ensure transparency. Even days after the polling has concluded, @Ceokerala continues to withhold the final voter turnout figures, hiding behind vague and unreliable approximate percentages. This calculated delay in releasing the exact number of votes polled is not just administrative incompetence; it is a sinister attempt to create a window for data manipulation and electoral fraud.
By refusing to provide the definitive count of every single vote cast, the Commission is sabotaging the very foundation of our democratic process. For decades, accurate figures were available within hours. Today, the ECI operates in a shroud of mystery that only benefits the ruling regime. This lack of transparency is the precursor to a stolen mandate.
This suspicious behavior is coupled with a breakdown of law and order within the electoral machinery. We have witnessed alarming attempts to breach EVM strong rooms across multiple districts. Most horrifying is the incident reported in media where a Central Observer attempted to force a District Collector to leave the strong room keys in the lock. When the official rightfully refused to comply with this illegal demand, CRPF personnel were reportedly ordered to point their weapons at the Collector. Though the ECI has denied this incident, the news about officials having disagreement about how to keep the keys itself should worry the voters who cast their votes for democracy to prevail. This is not how a democracy functions; this is a direct attack on the administrative integrity of Kerala.
The Kerala Leader of Opposition @vdsatheesan has sent multiple urgent letters to the Election Commission demanding transparent answers and swift action against these illegalities. The Commission has not had the decency or the integrity to respond to even one of these communications.
We issue a clear warning: we will not be silent spectators to this subversion. Every UDF worker is instructed to verify the data from Form 17C against the EVM counts. If there is a single discrepancy, we will block the counting process immediately. We will not move to the courts after the damage is done. We will stop the theft of the mandate at the table.
@Ceokerala must immediately release the final figures and provide a satisfactory answer to the strong room violations. If not, it will go on to prove beyond doubt that @ECISVEEP has stopped being an independent body and is just doing hit jobs for the ruling party at the centre and their subservient slaves in the state who are mysteriously silent.

His name is Subramanyam Vedam.
Everyone called him Subu.
He was born in India. His family brought him to America when he was 9 months old.
In 1982, he was 20 years old. A student in Pennsylvania.
His friend Thomas Kinser was found dead.
Police accused Subu.
No murder weapon was ever found.
The case rested entirely on circumstantial evidence.
He was convicted and sentenced to life without parole.
For 43 years, he sat in Huntingdon State Correctional Institution in Pennsylvania.
He grew old inside.
In 2022, the Pennsylvania Innocence Project found something buried in the District Attorney's files.
An FBI report and handwritten notes showed that the bullet recovered from the victim was too small to have been fired from the weapon Subu allegedly used.
This evidence had existed since the beginning.
It was never shown to the defence.
In September 2025, all murder charges were dropped.
On October 3 2025, Subu walked out of prison.
He was 64 years old.
He had spent 43 years inside for a crime he did not commit.
He became the longest serving wrongful exoneree in Pennsylvania history.
Then ICE detained him.
They had a deportation order from the 1980s.
They wanted to send him to India.
A country he had not seen since he was 9 months old.
A country whose language he does not speak.
A country where he knows no one.
The system took 43 years of his life.
Then tried to take his country too.
@HardeepSPuri Hello,
Do you follow Mr Subramanian Swamy?
He has been talking about someone and his biological activities in the last few days.
Is he right ?
please arrange a press conference like you did regarding Epstein files
@HardeepSPuri How idiotic?
A. When crude oil prices was low you didnt pass the benefit to people
B. When oil companies got crude oil at discounted prices, you didnt pass the benefit to people
C. Now that oil companies are suffering you are giving them benefit by tax reduction!
@madhukishwar Madhu,
You were supporting his political knowing that he was a predator. So you and those who supported him are equally responsible for this fall of India.
> He is Rajeev Chandrasekhar, BJP MP
> He is also a Union Minister
> He is a billionaire
> But he has declared zero houses and cars in his election affidavit
> He has also not declared a property in Bengaluru which He himself declared in 2024
> He trying to fool the public in broad daylight
> He has been exposed with proof
> But nothing will happen to him, Because ECI is compromised.
Did no one in the bureaucracy actually think this through?
Train is stopping at that platform where they have poured wet concrete. What did they expect the people to do? Use a jet pack?🚀🤦♀️
I feel bad for BJP. They keep scoring self goals. Spreading misinformation about oil bonds has been used as a cover by BJP to extort huge amounts of funds from Indian citizens. Let us get to the bottom of this.
If we take the data BJP has shared, this is what it says:
Average cost of crude oil (per barrel)
2005-2014: $86 (MMS)
2015-2025: $67 (Modi)
Average cost of petrol (Rupees per liter)
2005-2014: 54 (MMS)
2015-2025: 82 (Modi)
Crude oil was 22% cheaper under BJP, yet petrol was 52% more expensive!
What happened? Taxes are a big part of the Modi government's petroleum strategy (other factors impact prices too).
BJP will keep misleading the public about oil bonds being a reason for high fuel prices but they hope that you don't find out the full picture.
BJP's oil bond figure of 3.23 lakh crore (more on that later) should be seen in the following context.
Between 2015 and 2025, the petroleum sector has generated 66 lakh crores in revenues for the exchequer. According to the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (or PPAC), the Central Government collected 40 lakh crores of the total. 34 lakh crores were in taxes and duties. While 6 lakh crores were dividends.
The BJP wants you to believe that your high petrol and diesel prices are because of the 3.23 lakh crores of principal and interest payments associated with oil bonds issues by the UPA government (and the Vajpayee government). Total silence about taxes and duties!
So, you have to praise the Modi government because they spent 3.32 lakh crores out of the 40 lakh crores they collected from all of us. If you are not outraged by this, then you are only interested in supporting BJP blindly. That is your choice.
But, the story doesn't end there. There is another twist. The 3.23 lakh crore "credit card bill" that the BJP claims as UPA's legacy is a half truth:
1. The first oil bonds were issued by the NDA 1 government under Atal Bihari Vajpayee (9000 crore).
2. The UPA Government paid interest of 53,163 crores between 2009 and 2014. This interest was on the bonds issued both by the Vajpayee and Manmohan Singh governments. I bet you didn't hear Dr. Singh constantly complain about the Vajpayee government's oil bond.
3. That means the amount of interest and principal repaid by the Modi government is much less than 3.23 lakh crores.
But we paid 34 lakh crores in taxes and duties for the central government alone. Add to that taxes and duties for state governments and the dividends issued mostly for the central government and you begin to fully understand how the fleecing of the Indian consumer and taxpayer is engineered under the cover of UPA oil bonds, which are a tiny fraction of the oil sector's Rs. 66 lakh crore contribution to the government exchequer.
Don't let BJP get away with fake narratives. Time to reclaim the truth...and the country.
BJP workers vandalised their party office in Alipurduar after candidate announcement for West Bengal. Watch at 0:10 secs, BJP karyakarta is seen kicking Shri Ram's poster. Imagine the prime time debate If this was done by opposition party workers.
