@sljournal We are reading Room on the Broom to our first grade class as a read aloud this week. It will be followed by a fun activity where students will get an outline of a broom and will draw and talk about who and what they would take on their own brooms :) #LitBankStreet

@banda_xo Great food for thought! In my class, using "picture power" Is encouraged but at the same time, I have wondered what would happen if we removed the images. I think as students strengthen their skills they may not be as dependent on them but they are a great tool. #LitBankStreet
