The KISS family was delighted to welcome Smt. Vijaya K. Rahatkar Ji, Hon’ble Chairperson, National Commission for Women, to the campus today.
During her visit, she spent time with our students, moved around the campus and interacted closely with our lovable KISSians, especially our girl students. Her warm interaction, encouragement and interest in their aspirations made the visit very special for everyone.
Her appreciation for KISS and for the education and empowerment of tribal children was deeply encouraging for the entire KISS family.

Mr. Pawan Agarwal is a former IAS officer and Secretary to the Government of India, who has led transformative reforms across the food, education, and logistics sectors. As Chief Executive Officer of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), he reshaped India's food regulatory ecosystem and spearheaded the globally acclaimed Eat Right India movement. He also played a key role in shaping the National Logistics Policy and the Gati Shakti Master Plan.
He is the Founder and CEO of the Food Future Foundation, which promotes the 'Eat Well, Live Well' school-based framework focused on 21 healthy habits. He co-leads the Coalition for Food Systems Transformation in India (CoFTI), and continues to champion food, nutrition, education, and sustainability.

KIIT School of Rural Management is delighted to welcome Dr. Ashok Kumar Panda, Chairman – cum – Managing Director, Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) as the keynote speaker at the 7th National Agribusiness Konclave, scheduled for September 5, 2026.
The event will focus on the theme: “Nourishing Bharat: Sustainable Agribusiness for Food & Nutrition Security.”
Dr. Panda is a distinguished technocrat and finance expert with over thirty years of experience at SAIL. He began his professional career with the organization as a Management Trainee (Technical) in 1992. An Electrical Engineering graduate, he later pursued a PGDM and earned a Ph.D. in Business Management. Over the years, he has held diverse leadership responsibilities spanning operations, strategic planning, finance, marketing, sales, procurement, project execution and organisational growth.
Prior to taking charge as CMD, Dr. Panda served as Director (Finance) and also held the additional charge of Director (Commercial). His leadership has been marked by a strong focus on operational efficiency, value creation, innovation, sustainable growth and stakeholder value.

We hosted the 17th National Finance Konclave at our KIIT School of Management (KSOM) on the theme, “Digital Finance and Inclusive Growth: Redefining India’s Economic Future,” bringing together eminent leaders from the finance and BFSI sectors to discuss the evolving role of technology in building an inclusive and sustainable economic future for India.
The conclave explored the transformative potential of digital finance, FinTech, AI and emerging technologies, while highlighting the importance of cybersecurity, digital literacy, consumer protection and responsible innovation.
We were privileged to hear perspectives from distinguished industry leaders, including Mr Vikram Gupta, Founder and Managing Partner, IvyCap Ventures Advisors Pvt. Ltd., and an expert panel comprising leading professionals from Wells Fargo, Tata Realty & Infrastructure, IKF Finance, BFSI Sector Skill Council of India and Mangal Industries Limited.
The discussions examined the future of financial markets, access to capital, digital public infrastructure, financial inclusion and the need for India to evolve from a technology consumer into a creator and exporter of technology-led solutions.
The conclave further featured interactive workshops on digital payments and FinTech, M&A, debt markets, cross-border financial integration and Digital Public Infrastructure, offering participants valuable industry-led insights.
