Anytime I inch closer to a succinct summation of some sorta overarching personal ethos I am annoyingly-but-respectfully reminded that Tom Waits uttered it first, sub wah-wah for a DD-6 and bullet mic for a circuitbent casio maybe...
“Run away and join the circus. Get a tattoo, hop a train. Plant a garden and save the seeds. Get married, have kids, wear a hat. Get good with a bullwhip. Don’t lie, don’t cheat, don’t steal. Everyone must put beans on the table. Be devoted to the unification of the diverse aspects of yourself. Remember, most of what is essential is invisible to the eye. The quality of time you spend with someone far out-weighs the quantity. And there’s a lot you can do with a wah-wah pedal and a bullet mike.”
-- Tom Waits
Since 2022, I’ve been working on my second indie animated feature “Safe Mode”. Its being released episodically on Youtube and Newgrounds. Help us finish the project and get your name in the credits!
An incredible short documentary on H.R Giger where he talks about process, love & fear of women and how he shows all his art to his mother for approval.
My darlin Mary Joon just released the soundtrack of our past six years. So proud to be entrenched in the sonics and the lore and it be hers entirely!

As much as we are, so we are not. We live in parallels, never knowing the one from the other, dead already, wrapped in the arms of love. Time is by its very nature multidimensional.
Friends, Today is the on-sale date of my new book, Esoterika, in print, digital and audio (narrated by me).
It is a meaningful moment for all the obvious reasons—and some less so, which this note is about.
I was asked yesterday why I wrote this book at this time. I believe that rot has set into a lot of our spiritual and therapeutic culture. Its most popular voices do not tell the truth about the human situation. About my situation: pain, weakness, suffering, which is theirs too. And yours. This book tells the truth. We are in a downward cycle—call it Kali Yuga, sleep, a descending octave, or decay. It is real. This touches us on both intimate and macro scales.
I mentioned truth-telling. We are not being intentionally deceived. Rather, we are hearing from voices who themselves do not know what I am referencing. We quote divine ideas, old and new, and have a limited mental experience of something. Truth is in self-observation and lived verification. It is fleeting. It arrives, momentarily, in a shock. The aperture closes. We discuss memories.
Within this downward spiral we suffer in the wrong kinds of ways. Rather than pay debt, broadly defined—a valid and yielding suffering—we remain self-estranged and attached to negating relationships—a worthless and peer-enforced suffering.
For the willing, this book is a fire axe used for exit and entry. Exit from unthinking and depleting circumstances—including those marked by cruelty—and entry to a truer self—which you will know by knowing your wish. That is where Esoterika begins.
Please join us for an NYC launch event on Summer Solstice: Sunday, June 21, 7 pm at TV EYE. Our special guest is fine artist John Newsom who will display and discuss his cover art. RSVP free: https://t.co/A9cMbPmXFn
I will be posting soon about personalized and signed copies available by mail.
And the book is, of course, available in all formats everywhere.
Thank you for everything. x
@JJReinedeBlanc Yeah, largely shuffled off of here, became too untenable and random jolts of horrible images and unwarranted objectionables just doesnt seem like good mind fodder lol
