A full and very warm day in Regina! Advocated for fare free transit for students in the morning, and attended a full Crescents SCC AGM this evening! I appreciate how they start their meetings with “reconciliation is everyone’s responsibility”…

Lovely evening connecting with the @walker_elem SCC. Lots going on from badminton, flag football, crochet club, GSA, to Wahkotowin Day and special pool days. Many special lunches and snacks planned too.

I attended a large Kitchener Community School SCC meeting this afternoon. Wow! So many amazing things happening at Kitchener. Thanks so much to all the staff who step up and lead awesome activities, events, and gatherings for students. ❤️ Teamwork makes the dream work!

Tuesday night I attended an SCC meeting at The Crescents School. They are a hardworking group with high standards and expectations. They discussed their school success plan, as well as some fun upcoming community events like Frost Festival, hampers, and a dance!

Tonight was a great evening of networking with Campbell Business students. I met so many keen Ss in business classes, club, or entrepreneurship! I ❤️the diversity of programming offered across @RegPublicSchool.

Also, my kid helped make snacks for the event in his cooking class!

This could be at any school zone in regina. Those cones say No Stopping. And it's right in the crosswalk. I see so many close calls every day with kids and cars doing illegal and unsafe things to save seconds.
