🧵The Ongoing Drama/Feud Between Binance, @cz_binance, and Crypto Builders Especially @cjhtech Explained👇

Since yesterday, the entire crypto community’s attention was focused on @trylimitless and @cjhtech’s revelations about Binance’s listing offer… it even reached YAP’s Daily Top 1.

The core argument: @cjhtech felt that Binance was asking for way too much, and that its listing requirements were very different from Base’s.

Whenever an event like this blows up, there are always two sides to the commentary. The Chinese community definitely saw a lot of FUD, with many believing that this move would surely cut off their chances of being listed on Binance in the future.

Regarding this incident, artist @cryptopainter mentioned CJ’s statement that “the listing offer was received without signing an NDA,” so it can be assumed that the responsible BD privately leaked the terms.

The founder of @zerobasezk, @mirrorzk, shared how to use exchange activities for marketing. Personally, I also learned a lot from this, and I recommend checking it out if you’re interested.

Old Lu @luyaoyuan also pointed out that Kaito users are now stuck in the middle — some want to invest more, while others want to withdraw. The rhythm has clearly shifted compared to before, which is something Kaito needs to discuss internally.

AB @_FORAB said these terms are similar to what he encountered in the past — listing on “alpha” requires giving 2.5–4% of tokens + $1M (with $100–250K as a deposit), while listing on Binance’s main platform requires 1.5–3% of tokens + $1–2M in $BNB. He also noted that this range hasn’t changed much over time.

The above summarizes a few opinions from the Chinese community. It’s certain that listing on any exchange involves fees — that part isn’t up for debate. But regarding Binance’s claim that it will pursue legal action, since no NDA was signed, this shouldn’t fall under confidential restrictions.

(Binance’s earlier tweet has already been deleted, and the official @binance account later issued an apology. CJ subsequently reposted it, noting that the handling of this matter was inappropriate.)

Later, when I checked the English community, I noticed that even @1confirmation’s official account and Base’s @jessepollak directly reposted CJ’s thread — that’s when I realized the situation might not be so simple 🧐

One of the well-known ETH maxis, David B. @NTmoney — who’s also the founder of @1confirmation — jumped into the discussion as well. You can clearly see that the sentiment differs quite a bit between the English and Chinese circles.

Additionally, those who took a stance included @zkpass’s @Param_eth, $DOG’s key figure @LeonidasNFT, @moolah’s @0xKawz, as well as others like @BoredElonMusk and @adambn.

All this attention helped CJ gain over 3–4 million impressions in just one day.
