One thing I've learned in sports, business, and media: when people can't attack the argument, they attack the messenger.
I showed three clips. The conversation became about my résumé. That's usually a sign we're no longer discussing the actual point.
@Dilcafbmw@kurtos That’s not a foul he had perfect area to land safely fox even moved for him to land wasn’t impeding him he flopped and made it look like he was. Sga is good at it but that’s not a foul
The implication the writers were trying to give throughout the entire show is that Homelander is a weak coward at his core. His powers are the only thing that make him what he is. You take them away and he's a pathetic being.
The way he died was borderline foreshadowed since the very first episode, and then COUNTLESS times throughout every season. On his knees begging for his life because that's who he's always been, he was just hiding behind his powers.
It's pretty straightforward stuff. I'm surprised so many don't understand why he went out like this. As bad as the show has been at times, this ending made total sense.
Hot take:
Athletes should be able to clap back at fans with no repercussions. I don’t care how much they get paid, sports fans talk reckless knowing athletes aren’t supposed to clap back because they’ll get fined or “exposed”
