मुंबई बंदर परिमंडळ पोलीस उप आयुक्त डॉ. सुधाकर पठारे यांचे आज हैदराबादजवळ झालेल्या दुर्दैवी रस्ता अपघातात अकाली निधन झाले.

डॉ. सुधाकर पठारे हे एक निष्ठावान आणि कर्तव्यदक्ष पोलीस अधिकारी होते. सध्या बंदर परिमंडळ मुंबई येथे तसेच यापूर्वी नवी मुंबईत त्यांनी कायदा व सुव्यवस्था राखण्यासाठी दिलेले योगदान अमूल्य आहे. त्यांच्या अचानक जाण्याने पोलीस दलात मोठी पोकळी निर्माण झाली आहे.

या कठीण प्रसंगी आम्ही त्यांच्या कुटुंबीयांना, मित्रपरिवाराला आणि सहकाऱ्यांना मनःपूर्वक संवेदना व्यक्त करतो.

मुंबई पोलीस दल आपल्या या उत्कृष्ट अधिकाऱ्याच्या निधनाने शोकाकुल झाले आहे.

कांचनजंगा एक्स्प्रेसला मालगाडी धडकल्याने पश्चिम बंगाल मधील जलपायगुडी जवळ झालेल्या अपघातात १५ प्रवाशांचा मृत्यू होण्याची घटना अतिशय वेदनादायी आहे. या दुर्दैवी अपघाताने रेल्वे प्रवासाच्या सुरक्षिततेवर परत एकदा प्रश्नचिन्ह उभे राहिले आहे. ही घटना पॅसेंजर ट्रेनच्या चालकाने सिग्नल तोडल्याने झाल्याची माहिती
प्राथमिक तपासानंतर उच्चपदस्थ रेल्वे अधिकाऱ्यांनी दिली आहे. चालकाची एक छोटी चूक फार मोठे नुकसान करून गेली. मानवी चुका होऊन रेल्वे गाड्यांच्या अशा धडका टाळण्यासाठी कवच यंत्रणा विकसित करण्यात आली आहे. ही यंत्रणा लवकरात लवकर सर्वच गाड्यांवर कार्यान्वित झाली पाहिजे. अपघातातील मृतांना भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजली. जखमींच्या प्रकृतीत लवकर सुधार होवो ही प्रार्थना.

The accident in which the #Kanchanjunga Express collided with a freight train near Jalpaiguri in West Bengal, resulting in the death of 15 passengers, is extremely painful. A small mistake by the driver caused huge damage. The #Kavach system has been developed to prevent such collisions between trains due to human errors. This system should be implemented on all trains as soon as possible. Heartfelt condolences to the deceased in the accident. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured.
