Urgent assistance requested from @NivaBupa

My mother, Mrs. Mandadi Manemma, is currently admitted at Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, after undergoing robotic E-TEP ventral hernia repair for multiple ventral hernia defects.

Niva Bupa has deducted ₹1,32,300 towards robotic surgery charges from the cashless approval and requested a medical justification explaining why robotic surgery was required.

The treating surgeon has now provided the requested detailed medical justification, explaining the complexity of the multiple hernia defects and the medical reasons for choosing the robotic E-TEP approach. Our CT report also documents multiple abdominal wall hernias and a suprapubic hernia containing bowel loops.

We have submitted/provided the requested justification, but we have not received a response or revised authorization yet. My mother is still at the hospital, and this delay is causing considerable difficulty for our family.

We request Niva Bupa to urgently review the medical justification and reconsider the ₹1,32,300 deduction. If the deduction is still applicable, please provide the exact policy clause/MOU basis for the decision.
