So in Assam only the @CMOfficeAssam can go out and beg to the world to donate into an opaque fund whose disbursements till date are confidential.
Only @himantabiswa is allowed to take "Chanda" in the name of people of Assam. Atleast in case of others, we know it will go to poor and destitute.
Unlike the funding and accounts of CM Relief Fund, which ends up in the pockets of BJP people.
If otherwise, then Himanta should make the accounts of CM Relief Fund public!
@wokerandomism@TheIncNews No survey of all Indians backs the 80% claim for Modi as PM in 2029.
Latest India Today-CVoter Mood of the Nation (Feb 2026) shows 58% prefer him as next PM (Rahul Gandhi 24%). Earlier polls were in the 50-55% range. A 2025 CVoter figure of 73.9% was only among NDA voters.
The ₹15,000 Flood Relief Scam in Assam!
It is absolutely shocking and heartbreaking to witness the massive mismanagement and corruption happening in the name of the Chief Minister's flood relief.
While some genuine flood victims whose homes were completely destroyed have received absolutely nothing, some unaffected individuals are receiving the ₹15,000 relief money straight into their bank accounts.
In some cases, the same unaffected households have received compensation up to Rs. 45000, while the real victims are handed a mere packet of rice and oil to survive.
Is a natural disaster the right time to play dirty politics and indulge in blatant nepotism?
Mocking the misery of people who have lost their life savings is a new low.
I strongly demand an immediate and impartial inquiry into these gross anomalies. The administration must punish the corrupt and ensure that the real victims get their rightful compensation!

APCC President Shri @GauravGogoiAsm's statement on the detention of Pranab Doley - an indigenous rights activist and a TISS graduate, under the draconian National Security Act (NSA).
- I strongly condemn the arrest of Pranab Doley under the NSA. A hotel project in Kaziranga cannot be treated as a matter of national security.
- Through the misuse of the NSA, this government is trying to take away the democratic rights of citizens.
- Anyone may agree or disagree with Pranab Doley and his colleagues, but the Constitution guarantees every citizen the right to question
- The government's decision to invoke the NSA after court granted him bail only proves that it wants society to remain silent
- I hope the Supreme Court takes suo motu cognisance of the misuse of the NSA in the coming days.
- We have witnessed a similar misuse of this law by the BJP govt when Sonam Wangchuk was detained under the NSA for several months.
- We will extend every possible support to Pranab Doley
...advanced & more operationally integrated.
Why hasn't our govt invested more seriously in flood management?
What happened to the promised projects involving satellite imagery, space technology etc?
