I really think of Umar on a daily basis and wonder how he feels.

JNU, Umar Khalid’s own alma mater and historically one of India’s most important spaces for radical political thought, debate, and dissent, has cancelled an event to discuss his book Fractured Communities. Umar remains imprisoned, and now even his scholarship is being revoked by the university he once called home.
