दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय ने आज मोदी एक्ट की धारा 18 और 18ए(2) के अंतर्गत वैधानिक रोक को देखते हुए मेरी अग्रिम जमानत याचिका को निरस्त कर दिया। हायकोर्ट का यह निर्णय अपनी जगह है, पर मैं इस से सम्मानपूर्वक असहमत हूँ।

साथ ही, यह भी स्पष्ट है कि न्यायालय ने कहा है कि इसकी टिप्पणियाँ केवल जमानत आवेदन तक सीमित हैं और मेरी आपराधिकता इससे सिद्ध नहीं हो जाती। इस निर्णय को सुप्रीम कोर्ट के समक्ष चुनौती दूँगा और आशा करता हूँ कि देश की न्यायिक व्यवस्था में सर्वोच्च विश्वास बना रहे।

मुझे एक नीच, अधम, पतित ट्रोल के विरुद्ध अपने परिवार के सम्मान की रक्षा करने के लिए, इस घटिया और दमनकारी मोदी एक्ट (जिसे SC/ST एक्ट भी कहा जाता है) के प्रावधानों के तहत एक आपराधिक मामले में झूठा फँसाया गया है।

मैंने ऐसा कुछ नहीं कहा है जो किसी व्यक्ति या समुदाय का जाति के आधार पर जानबूझकर अपमान या अपमानजनक व्यवहार माना जा सके। मैं उन किसी भी निहित स्वार्थ वाली ताकतों से लड़ने के लिए तैयार हूँ जो इस देश में स्वतंत्र अभिव्यक्ति और सत्य कथन को दंडित करना चाहती हैं, भले ही इसके लिए मुझे जेल जाना पड़े।

एक नेता द्वारा अपनी राजनैतिक वोटबैंक को साधने के लिए, सामान्य जनता से बिना किसी सोच-विचार के, संशोधित किए गए इस पूरे कानून और इसके संशोधित नियमों का मैं तब तक विरोध करूँगा जब तक इसे पूरी तरह से निरस्त न किया जाए।

और हाँ, पुनः कहूँगा कि हमारी की माँ-बहनें सड़कों पर चलती-फिरती वस्तु नहीं है जिस पर कोई भी टिप्पणी करे और बच जाए। उनके सम्मान की रक्षा हेतु, सौ बार जेल जाना पड़े जाऊँगा और 101वीं बार वही करूँगा जो मैंने किया है।

PS: जो भी इस निरस्तीकरण पर स्खलित हो रहे हैं, तुम्हारी माँ-बहन पर भी हर दिन ऐसी टिप्पणी होती है। उस पर भी मैं ही स्टैंड लूँगा क्योंकि तुम अपनी कायरता में दो शब्द नहीं लिख पाओगे।

By the way, we should be very careful not to concoct theology in the name of Sanātana Dharma.

Bhūmi/Prithvī-devī is recognised in śāstra. Bhāratī is also an ancient name associated with Sarasvatī. But “Bharat Mata” as the personified Indian nation should not simply be presented as though she were a separately revealed Vedic deity.

In the Sanatan traditions, dharma & tattva descend through śāstra, sādhu & guru; they are not manufactured according to contemporary political requirements.

We can—and should—love Bharat, honour this sacred land, protect its civilisation and serve its people. But patriotism and siddhānta are not the same thing.

Political leaders may speak about national symbols, but they should be extremely careful about creating new theological claims and presenting them as Sanātana Dharma.
